CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator - Joinery Location: Basildon Salary: Up to £46,000 per year (£21ph DOE) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (42.4 hours per week) Our client, a leading commercial fit-out and joinery manufacturer, is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality joinery components from production drawings and cutting lists. Key Responsibilities Program, set and operate Homag CNC machines using Alphacam and WoodWop (Currently operating offline programming, moving to online) Manufacture joinery components to tight tolerances Work from production drawings and cutting lists Ensure finished parts meet quality standards Report any design, production or machine issues Prepare completed components for assembly or dispatchSkills and Experience Previous experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator in a joinery or woodworking environment Ability to read technical drawings and cutting sheets Experience with woodworking machinery such as dimension saws, drum sanders, planers, thicknessers, cross-cut saws and band saws Knowledge of timber materials including hardwood, softwood, laminates and veneered panels Machine woodworking qualification or equivalent industry experienceBenefits Salary up to £46,000 per year (£21ph depending on experience) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme Death in service benefit (4x annual salary) Personal accident cover Healthcare cash planCandidates who require sponsorship now or in the future cannot be considered for this position.
