CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator A well-established and respected engineering company based in Ipswich is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join its skilled manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly business with a long history of producing high-quality industrial equipment across a wide variety of bespoke projects. Key Responsibilities Working within a busy but supportive team environment, you will be responsible for: * Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes or machining centres * Working with Fanuc controls * Producing precision components for industrial equipment * Reading and working from engineering drawings * Maintaining high quality and accuracy standards * The work is varied and interesting, focusing on bespoke engineering rather than mass production. Applicants must have * Previous experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator * Experience programming CNC lathes, mills or machining centres * Knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens controls * Ability to work independently and to high standards * A positive attitude and ability to work within a small team environment Hours/Salary * c£17 per hour + O/T * Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, with early finish on Fridays * Good benefits * Stable, long-established employer * Friendly and supportive team culture If you are looking for a varied CNC role within a close-knit engineering team where your skills are genuinely valued, we would be pleased to hear from you
