CNC Setter Coventry Night Shift: 18:00pm – 04:30am Mon - Thurs + Overtime Hours: 40 hours per week, full time Permanent position £21.00 - £24.00 per hour including shift allowance About MNB Precision MNB Precision has built a reputation over four decades for delivering high-quality, precision-engineered components to critical industries. Our night shift plays a vital role in meeting customer demand, and we’re now looking for an experienced CNC Setter to join our team. The CNC Setter Role: * Working on the night shift, you’ll be responsible for setting and running CNC machines to produce complex, high-spec components. Key responsibilities for the CNC Setter role: * Set and operate CNC machines (milling or turning) including Mazak and Doosan Machines. * Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances * Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment * Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards * Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team Why Work for MNB? * Consistent night shift - no rotation * Stable, long-established employer with a strong order book * Interesting, challenging components * Clean, well-equipped facility with ongoing investment * Overtime paid on top of premium rates * Job security with a long-standing engineering business * Supportive management team who understand machining What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Setter within a precision manufacturing business * Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain controls * Experience machining large components (we have anything up to 7 metres in length x 800mm diameter) * Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex is required for the CNC Setter role. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols. * Strong attention to detail and pride in quality * A reliable, team-focused approach is required for the CNC Setter role.
