Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 DOE

Shift: Day Shift

The Role

As a CNC Setter/Operator, you'll play an important part in the manufacturing process, producing high-quality precision components while ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Your responsibilities will include:

Setting and operating CNC milling or turning machines

Producing components to tight tolerances

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Selecting and changing tooling where required

Making tool offsets and basic programme adjustments

Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment

Maintaining machine performance and reporting any issues

Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
About You

To be successful in this role you'll ideally have:

Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery

Experience within a precision engineering environment

Ability to read engineering drawings confidently

Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good communication skills and a positive attitude

A willingness to learn and contribute as part of a close-knit team
Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazatrol or similar CNC controls would be highly advantageous, although training may be provided for the right candidate.
