CNC Turner

Position: CNC Turner Location: Truro Type of work: perm Salary: £28000 to £33462 Working hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 6:30 am to 16:30 (every Friday off) We are now seeking to recruit CNC setter to work for a busy engineering company based in Truro. The appropriate CNC machinist will have previous experience in setting and operating CNC lathes machines, machining heavy automotive parts. Responsibilities: Setting / Operating CNC turning machines within the standard set and run times Monitor machining operations and make minor adjustments as required Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges) Interpret engineering drawings and follow production documentation Maintain and clean, organise safe working areas Responsibilities: Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of Mazak, Fanuc and/or Siemens control systems Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings Good knowledge of machining processes and materials Competence using measuring equipment For more information or to apply, please email your CV to (url removed) or call on (phone number removed) Omega is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors
