CNC Turner | Braintree | Up to £40,000 | Day shift | Monday to Friday | 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays | Healthcare Cash Back Scheme Prime Appointments is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner for a world-leading precision engineering manufacturer in Braintree. This permanent days-based role offers the chance to join a stable, growing team producing high-quality components in a modern, supportive environment. Main duties & responsibilities: Setting and operating CNC fixed-head lathes (single & double turret machines) Programming and editing Fanuc controls Selecting correct tooling and setting machines from detailed engineering drawings Proving out programs and producing valid first-off components to drawing and quality standards Running production to achieve required quantities Conducting in-process inspection and full quality checks using a range of measuring equipment Completing all QA documentation and maintaining highest quality standards Full compliance with company H&S procedures The successful candidate will have: Proven experience setting & operating CNC lathes Ability to program Fanuc CNC machines (Siemens experience also very welcome) Strong ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings & tolerances Self-sufficient in in-process & first-off inspection / quality control Apprentice-served background in engineering / machining preferred Benefits include: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Healthcare cash back scheme Career progression & professional development Discounts at major retailers Stable daytime hours - excellent work-life balance If you are a skilled CNC Turner based in Braintree or the surrounding areas and would like to hear more about the company, culture and exact package, please call Mark at Prime Appointments today. #Tier1
