As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:
Programme, set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls to produce precision components
Work from engineering drawings and specifications to tight tolerances
Carry out in-process and first-off inspections to maintain quality standards
Make programme adjustments and offsets to keep components within drawing limits
Maintain a safe, organised working environment in line with company procedures
As a CNC Turner, your experience will include:
Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering or subcontract environment
Confident programming, setting and operating CNC turning equipment using Fanuc controls
Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
Experience machining a variety of metals
Working knowledge of ISO9001 quality environments an advantage
