Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer Location: Moulton Mowbray, Leicestershire Salary: Up to £42,000 (DOE) Hours: 40 hours per week – flexible start/finish times Job Type: Permanent The Role We’re recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering business supplying into the Oil & Gas sector. You’ll be programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance components, working to drawings and using standard inspection equipment to ensure quality. Key Responsibilities * Program, set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components * Fanuc programming (essential) – editing at the machine and/or offline programming depending on the job * Work from engineering drawings and specifications * Carry out first-off checks and in-process inspection (micrometers, verniers, gauges etc.) * Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safe working * Work closely with inspection/quality and support continuous improvement Requirements * Proven background as a CNC Turner / CNC Turner Programmer in precision engineering * Fanuc controls experience (essential) * Able to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances * Confident with inspection and measuring equipment * Experience machining materials commonly used in Oil & Gas (desirable) Desirable (Nice to have) * Experience with Haas lathes * Experience in high-integrity sectors (Oil & Gas, aerospace, motorsport, defence etc.) What’s On Offer * Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience * Flexible working hours (40-hour week) * Stable, long-term permanent role with a strong order book * Clean, organised shop with a focus on quality and repeat work
