Commercial Finance Administrator
We're supporting a growing, forward‑thinking business seeking a Commercial Finance Administrator. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone sociable, curious, logical, and eager to learn; not necessarily "hard finance", but someone with a good head for numbers, analysis, and problem‑solving. This position is available on a temporary basis initially, to cover Maternity, with a view to go permanent based in Warrington. This role plays a key role in pricing, profitability and day‑to‑day operational support on a temporary basis, with a view to go permanent at their Warrington site. Description The Commercial Finance Administrator duties include: Supporting the team with profitability and pricing Carrying out basic Excel analysis Working with bespoke internal systems to maintain accurate information Liaising with sales, operations, directors, and shareholders on an ad‑hoc basis Spotting issues, investigating solutions, and proactively taking initiative Resolving system quirks or queries Ensuring accuracy, logic, and sound judgement in calculations Contributing to a collaborative shared workload with quick turnaround times Profile A successful Commercial Finance Administrator should have: Experience is helpful but not essential - logic and attitude matter more. Analytical, sensible, and commercially minded Confident with basic maths and calculations Comfortable speaking to internal stakeholders Sociable, proactive, and willing to learn Capable with basic Excel (formulas can be taught) Literate and able to communicate clearly Job Offer The benefits on offer include: £27,000 salary (aligned with current team) Pension Study support available (AAT) 9am-5pm with flexible working Mental Health Breaks Team socials, Christmas & summer events
