Commercial Gas Engineer

COMMERICAL GAS ENGINEER Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems across various sites. Responsibilities * Install, service, and repair commercial gas appliances and systems in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards * Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal operation of gas equipment * Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs efficiently and effectively * Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to carry out tasks * Perform plumbing tasks related to gas systems. including pipe fitting and assembly * Carry out basic carpentry work as needed for installation or maintenance purposes * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used * Assist in the assembly of new equipment or system components on-site * Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies Skills * Proven experience with welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively * Strong mechanical knowledge related to gas systems and associated machinery * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required * Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs * Valid commercial driving licence is desirable for site travel or transporting equipment * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail * Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently * Ability to work independently or within a team environment while maintaining high safety standards * Must have Gas Safe * Must drive This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to develop their expertise within the commercial gas industry.
