Apply NowA senior opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to take overall commercial responsibility for a growing portfolio of major construction projects across the Netherlands.
With projects currently located in Groningen, Amsterdam and Leiden, this is a strategically important position with responsibility for commercial performance across multiple projects and project teams.
The Role
Take overall commercial responsibility across multiple projects
Lead and develop commercial teams
Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting
Manage contracts, procurement, change and commercial risk
Lead commercial negotiations with clients and contractors
Provide strategic commercial advice to senior project stakeholders
Drive consistency and best practice across the project portfolio
About You
Significant commercial management experience within the construction sector
Proven track record managing multiple projects or a major project portfolio
Strong contractual and commercial knowledge
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
Experience with major construction projects
International or European project experience would be advantageous
Location: Ideally based in the Netherlands, although flexibility is available for the right candidate. Options could include a rotation-based arrangement or being based from a London office with regular travel to projects across the Netherlands.
