Commercial Plumber – Central Belt (4-Day Week) 📍 Location: Central Belt (East or West Scotland) 💰 Salary: Up to £40,000 🕒 Hours: 34 hours per week | 4-day working week | Paid for 5 days 📄 Type: Permanent FM Search & Select are working with a leading Facilities Management provider who are looking to recruit a Commercial Plumber to cover sites across the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a great opportunity for an experienced plumber looking for a better work-life balance, offering a 4-day working week while working across a varied portfolio of commercial contracts. The Role You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial sites. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on plumbing systems * Maintenance and repair of water systems, pipework, taps, toilets and sanitary ware * Fault finding and resolving plumbing issues efficiently * Supporting maintenance of heating and domestic water systems * Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance regulations * Completing service reports and maintenance documentation * Providing a high level of service to clients across multiple sites Requirements * Proven experience as a Commercial Plumber within FM or commercial environments * Relevant plumbing qualifications (SVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent) * Experience working on commercial building services systems * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Salary up to £40,000 * 4-day working week (34 hours) * Permanent, stable position within a growing FM business * Work across a diverse range of commercial sites * Strong work-life balance If you’re an experienced Commercial Plumber based in either the East or West of Scotland, we’d love to hear from you. 📩 Apply now or contact FM Search & Select for more information
