Complex Care Support Worker / Carer Company: Health Now Complex Care Location: Isle of Wight, Basingstoke, Frimley, New Forest, Southampton Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Bank Shift Length: 6–12 hour shifts (Days & Nights) About Health Now Complex Care Health Now Complex Care provides specialist, person-centred care for children and young people with complex physical and mental health needs within their own homes and community settings. Our aim is to support individuals to live safely, comfortably and with dignity while promoting independence wherever possible. We are currently recruiting experienced Complex Care Support Workers / Carers to support children and young people across multiple care packages within: Isle of Wight Basingstoke Frimley New Forest Southampton Role Overview As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to children with complex health needs within their homes and community environments. You will work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver care in line with individual care plans. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans Support children and young people with complex physical and/or mental health needs Assist with daily living activities, personal care and mobility Support emotional wellbeing and behavioural needs Safely manage and monitor clinical interventions where required Maintain accurate care records and documentation Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals Clinical Skills & Experience (Desirable) Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: PEG feeding Tracheostomy care Learning Disabilities (LD) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Challenging behaviours Complex physical health needs Mental health support Essential Requirements Previous home-based or community care experience Experience supporting children and young people CAMHS and/or Paediatric experience Experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or complex physical health needs Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential) Strong communication and safeguarding awareness Shift Patterns Shifts typically 6–12 hours Day and night shifts available Rotas dependent on service user needs and individual care packages What We Offer Competitive rates of pay Flexible shift patterns Ongoing training and professional development Supportive clinical and management team Opportunity to work within specialist complex care packages
