As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalised support to pupils throughout the school day, working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You may support children with autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), physical disabilities, communication difficulties, and other complex needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils with their learning, communication, and daily classroom activities
Encouraging independence and helping children develop practical life skills
Providing patient, individualised support in line with pupils' needs
Helping maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals to support pupil developmentThe school provides a collaborative environment where staff work together to deliver personalised support and ensure every child feels valued. You will have the opportunity to build your experience in specialist education while making a meaningful difference to pupils' everyday lives.
