Apply NowWe’re looking for an experienced Compliance Surveyor to lead asbestos and water (Legionella) compliance across our housing stock. This role ensures statutory safety, manages key compliance programmes, and oversees contractor delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver asbestos programmes: re‑inspections, management surveys, R&D surveys and removals.
* Oversee water safety compliance: risk assessments, monitoring and remedial actions.
* Maintain accurate asbestos and water registers.
* Coordinate access with repairs, gas, estates, tenancy and ASB teams.
* Manage contractors, review outputs and ensure remedial works are completed.
* Provide clear reporting and escalate risks to the Compliance Manager.
Requirements
* Experience managing asbestos compliance in housing or similar environments.
* Knowledge of asbestos surveying/management (P402/P405 or equivalent) and domestic Legionella control.
* Strong contractor‑management skills.
* Desirable: asbestos/water safety qualifications.
* Driving licence for site visits.
Skills
* Highly organised with excellent record‑keeping.
* Strong communicator, able to manage challenging property access.
* Resilient and confident working across multiple teams.
Contract Details
* 6‑month interim role.
* Initial onboarding up to 5 days/week; minimum 3 days/week on‑site thereafter.
* Field‑based across ~4,200 properties
