About the Role:
As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will oversee the clinical operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and enhancing patient care. You will lead and inspire a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the nursing team to deliver exceptional care and maintain high standards.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and implement best practices in clinical governance.
* Develop and execute effective risk management strategies to safeguard patient welfare.
* Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and improve service delivery.
* Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.
* Facilitate staff training and development to enhance team capabilities.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure quality standards are met.
* Act as a key point of contact for patients, families, and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
* Proven leadership experience in a nursing home setting.
* Strong clinical expertise with an active nursing PIN.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
* Demonstrated experience in team management and organizational skills.
* In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in a fully supernumerary role.
* Familiarity with advanced risk management techniques.
* Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with active PIN.
* Advanced degree or certification in healthcare management preferred.
* Previous experience in a deputy manager role is advantageous.
