Construction Service Manager
Location: Maldon, Essex
Hours: 42 hrs/week, Mon–Fri 8:00–17:30 (1 hr unpaid lunch), additional hours may be required during peak periods

Role:
Seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a busy Construction service department. Responsible for managing service staff, customer relations, departmental profitability, and communication between management, technicians, and clients.
Key Requirements:
Strong knowledge of construction engineering; experience with Merlo, Hyundai, Bomag, Thwaites or similar advantageous
Previous management/supervisor experience in a service environment
Ability to mentor and oversee technicians
Understanding of P&L, KPIs, and manufacturer warranty systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organised, proactive, and able to multitask
Able to handle staff matters confidently and confidentially
Customer-focused with the ability to manage expectations
Able to work autonomously and use initiative
Good general health, fitness, and professional appearance
