Role Overview
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and enhancing manufacturing and business processes across the site. This position focuses on analysing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven improvement initiatives to optimise performance, reduce waste, and support business growth.
Working as part of the Industrial Operations team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments including operations, quality, engineering, finance, IT, and HR, helping to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation while ensuring compliance with medical manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse current production and business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement optimised processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve performance.
Ensure all improvements align with regulated medical manufacturing standards.
Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from concept through to completion.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
Support key operational and infrastructure improvement initiatives across the site.
Develop, refine, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track improvement progress.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management outlining findings, recommendations, and progress.
Contribute to the development of a structured continuous improvement roadmap.
Support sustainability initiatives, including contributing to long-term environmental goals such as carbon reduction targets.Key Requirements
Experience within a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment (minimum 3 years).
Proven involvement in continuous improvement or process improvement activities.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).
Experience delivering measurable improvements within a manufacturing environment.Salary & Benefits
