Continuous Improvement Specialist
The Opportunity
The company is at the start of their CI journey and so there is opportunity to engage in improvement initiatives, coach frontline leaders, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll use data-driven insights and Lean methodologies to optimise processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and deliver Continuous Improvement projects using Lean and DMAIC methodologies
* Analyse operational data to identify opportunities and drive performance gains
* Coach and upskill teams in problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
* Champion 5S and deliver engaging training sessions
* Own and prioritise the CI project pipeline
* Support teams in achieving business goals through structured improvement plans
* Embed a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement role within manufacturing with a formal Lean qualification (e.g. Green Belt or equivalent).
You will need strong analytical/ problem-solving skills and be a confident communicator with both production teams and senior management.
