Contract Manager Central London £65,000- £70,000 + Package Job Purpose Reporting to the Business Unit Manager you will be working within the engineering services team. You will interact with the team and manage all day-to-day activities including training of new team members, allocating jobs and workload, scheduling, completing team-related paperwork and appraisals. As the Contract Manager you will lead the team and you will have a very good track record and will be capable of running the operation whilst on duty. At times, this will be a hands-on role and therefore must have hands on experience of maintenance tasks. Main Duties * Establishment and day to day management of PPM system. * Overall management of permanent, temporary and contract staff. * Management of procurement and project work. * Management and control of budgets including revenue and capital expenditure. * Management and control of maintenance operations across the sites for which you are responsible. * Report on service management in association with contract terms and conditions. * Ensure all technical elements of the contract meet the clients requirements. * Cross Business Responsibility * To develop a good working relationship with all members of Vertex staff, subcontractors and the client representatives. * Oversee the daily organisation off staff and their workload, offering advice and general information * You will be the first point of contact for escalations (customer/staff) * Complete annual appraisals * Monitor the teams daily and weekly performance
