Contracts Manager - Fire Doors

EA Associates are working on behalf of a leading Passive Fire Protection contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager / Senior Contracts Manager to oversee Fire Door projects across London and the South East, operating from their Essex office. This is a well-established business with a strong reputation for delivering compliant, high-quality fire door installations, remedial programmes and large-scale upgrades within occupied residential blocks, commercial buildings, healthcare and education settings. With a strong order book and continued growth, they are looking for a senior-level hire who can play a key role in the next phase of the company’s development. There is a genuine opportunity to progress into a senior leadership position for the right candidate. The Role You will take full operational responsibility for multiple fire door contracts, from pre-construction through to final handover. Duties will include: * Managing multiple Fire Door installation and remedial projects simultaneously * Overseeing Site Managers, Supervisors, installers and subcontractors * Programme management and ensuring works are delivered on time * Budget control and commercial oversight alongside the commercial team * Client liaison with housing associations, main contractors and end clients * Ensuring strict compliance with third-party accreditation standards and current fire safety legislation * Quality assurance, inspections and sign-off * Supporting audits and maintaining certification requirements Requirements * Strong background managing Fire Door projects is essential * Previous experience within Passive Fire Protection * Thorough understanding of fire door compliance, installation standards and remedial works * Working knowledge of accreditation schemes such as BM TRADA, FIRAS or similar * Strong leadership and team management experience * Commercially aware with the ability to manage project performance * Confident client-facing skills What’s on Offer * Strong salary & Package - Negotiable D.O.E * Long-term, secure position with a growing contractor * Clear route into senior leadership This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager looking to step into a more senior role, or an established Senior Contracts Manager seeking a long-term leadership pathway within a respected Passive Fire Protection specialist.
