We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a busy Property Services team on a 3‑month temporary assignment, overseeing the delivery and performance management of responsive repairs, voids, and planned works contracts. This role is ideal for a professional with strong repairs and maintenance operational knowledge, excellent contractor management skills, and the ability to drive service quality and value for money from day one. 🔧 Key Responsibilities * Lead the day‑to‑day contract management of repairs, voids and planned maintenance providers. * Monitor contractor KPIs including quality, timeliness, customer satisfaction and cost control. * Ensure all works meet required standards, contractual obligations and compliance requirements. * Work closely with Surveyors, Property Officers and external suppliers to resolve issues and improve performance. * Manage contractor meetings, performance reviews and escalation processes. * Support the delivery of void properties — ensuring high-quality, cost‑efficient and timely turnaround. * Review, analyse and report on contract performance data, identifying risks and opportunities. * Ensure all relevant health & safety, statutory and regulatory compliance standards are met. * Drive continuous improvement across the service, identifying ways to increase efficiency and value for money. 🧩 About You You will bring strong experience in repairs & maintenance contract management within housing, construction, facilities management or a similar environment. You should be confident managing supplier performance and resolving issues quickly. Essential Experience * Strong background in contract management for repairs, maintenance, or property services. * Experience managing responsive repairs and/or voids contracts. * Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements. * Confident working with contractors, building positive relationships, and holding suppliers to account. * Good understanding of compliance, health & safety, and quality control. * Able to work independently, manage a busy workload and deliver results at pace. Desirable * Experience in the social housing sector. * Knowledge of asset management or repairs management systems. * Understanding of planned and cyclical maintenance contracts
