Contracts Manager
Will negotiate sub-contracts and orders, monitor sub-contractors, consulting closely with other internal and external stakeholders. The Contracts Manager is responsible for assisting with the negotiation of the contract, successfully managing contract changes post-award, resolving disputes, and identifying areas for improvement in contracting processes.
Understands and has experience of industry standard form contracts (for example, NEC and IChemE)
Responsibilities:
* Proven experience of working with, negotiating and managing contracts
* Demonstrate experience managing contract values, risks, claims, and performance
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence others to deliver results
* Cross-functional collaboration with procurement, business development, finance, and project teams
* Knowledge of Health and Safety, CDM, and compliance
* Excellent negotiation and team-working skills
* Knowledge of contract law
* Ability to persuade and influence others
* Ability to recognise and resolve conflict
* Educated to a minimum of Degree level in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience in Contracts Management
* Full clean driving license
* Some UK travel / site visits required
