Contracts Manager / Project Manager – Structural Steel & Temporary Works Location: London Salary: Competitive (DOE) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager / Project Manager to oversee multiple structural steel, steel fabrication, and temporary works projects across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional with strong technical knowledge of steel structures, fabrication processes, and design coordination to join a growing and well-established company. Key Responsibilities: * Managing multiple structural steel and temporary works contracts from award through to completion * Overseeing fabrication, design coordination, and site installation * Liaising with engineers, designers, clients, and site teams to ensure projects run smoothly * Managing project programmes, budgets, and resources * Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards * Attending site meetings and maintaining strong client relationships * Reviewing drawings and coordinating with design teams to resolve technical issues Requirements: * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within structural steel or steel fabrication * Strong understanding of steel design, fabrication processes, and temporary works * Experience managing projects across multiple London sites * Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Full UK driving licence * Relevant construction qualifications preferred What We Offer: * Competitive salary package * Long-term opportunity with a growing company * Varied and interesting projects across London * Supportive and professional working environment Apply: If you have the experience and technical knowledge to manage structural steel and temporary works contracts, please submit your CV to be considered
