Costs Draftsperson

We are working on behalf of a highly reputable and well-established costs firm that is seeking to recruit a number of experienced Costs Draftsperson to support its continued growth.
The firm is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience dealing with Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence, Commericial or Court of Protection costs matters.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied and high-quality caseload within a supportive and professional environment.
Experience handling complex cases would be a distinct advantage, although strong core experience is essential.
The Role’
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of costs matters, producing work to a high technical standard and supporting clients throughout the costs process.
Key Responsibilities
· Drafting bills of costs & budgets
· Preparing Points of Dispute and Replies
· Dealing with negotiations and associated correspondence
· Advising on costs issues and strategy
· Assisting with more complex or high-value matters where required
Candidate Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Costs Draftsperson
· Experience of complex cases is advantageous
· Strong technical knowledge of costs law and procedure
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage a caseload independently
