We’re looking for COTS labourers to join our team in Southampton
* Start Date: ASAP
* Location: Southampton
* Duration: Work available up until Christmas, with the potential to move onto other sites subject to successfully completing probation etc.
* Payment Type: PAYE
* Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 (Monday to Friday)
* Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Essential Requirements
* Current COTS (Scaffolding Labourer card)
Duties
* Assist scaffolders with the erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding under supervision.
* Load, unload and distribute scaffolding tubes, boards, fittings and equipment.
* Carry scaffolding materials safely around site and keep work areas organised.
* Maintain good housekeeping and ensure access routes remain clear.
* Inspect materials for obvious damage and report any defects.
* Follow site health and safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
* Wear the required PPE and work safely at all times.
* Assist the scaffolding team with general labouring duties as required.
* Work in accordance with the training and limitations of the CISRS COTS qualification.
