Court of Protection Co-Ordinator, City Centre Based.

£30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

* Managing a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters, including property and financial affairs.

* Supporting solicitors with deputyship applications, annual reports, and ongoing case management.

* Liaising with clients, families, local authorities, medical professionals, and financial institutions.

* Preparing legal documents, statements, and evidence bundles.

* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with Court of Protection and OPG requirements.

Desirables

* This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting vulnerable clients, managing complex caseloads, and working within a legal or social‑care environment. Previous experience in Court of Protection, financial vulnerability, or supporting clients in financial difficulty ESSENTIAL.

* Experience in bereavement teams within banks or financial institutions will also prove a strong advantage.

* Solid understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and deputyship processes.

* Clear, confident communicator with a sensitive, professional approach.

* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy caseload.

* Genuine commitment to client care.
