Cover Supervisor – Secondary School Bath Day-to-day placements with potential for permanent position We are currently seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work within secondary schools in Bath. This role is ideal for individuals who have classroom experience but do not hold a formal teaching qualification. It offers flexible day-to-day placements, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning and ensuring a positive classroom environment. Your responsibilities may include: Supervising whole classes during teacher absence Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their learning Providing feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress You may also be required to support students in smaller groups or on a 1:1 basis, depending on the needs of the school.
