As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will ensure students remain engaged with the work that has been set, maintain high standards of behaviour, and help create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide support and guidance to students where appropriate.
* Report back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student engagement.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with students and school staff.
* Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and school procedures at all times
