Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Company: Tradewind Recruitment Salary: £100-£120 per day (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply available Start Date: ASAP About the Role: Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools in the Corby area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking for flexible work in local schools. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher. All work will be set by teaching staff, and you will be expected to manage behaviour, ensure students remain on task, and maintain a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Ensure students remain on task and complete the work provided Provide feedback to teaching staff following the lesson Support the wider school team where required Requirements: Experience working with young people (school, coaching, tutoring, youth work, etc.) Strong behaviour management skills Confident, adaptable, and professional manner Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) Right to work in the UK Why work with Tradewind Recruitment?
