TeacherActive is proud to be working with a high-performing grammar school in Tonbridge. The school offers a welcoming environment, fantastic facilities and a supportive staffroom, with colleagues providing guidance and support to all new members of staff.
The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a short-term, part-time basis to provide classroom cover as required. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students remain engaged with their learning throughout the lesson.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Previous experience working with young people in a school or educational setting
• Experience managing groups of secondary-aged students
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A confident and adaptable approach
• A professional and reliable attitude
