Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor Alternative Provision - KS3/KS4 - Southampton Summer Term/Temp to Perm Academics are recruiting on behalf of an Alternative Provision in Southampton who are looking for a passionate and engaging Cover Supervisor to join them on a full-time, term-time, temp to perm position. They are predominantly a short stay school for learners who have been permanently excluded, or are at risk of exclusion. Although they hope that with a therapeutic approach to learning they will encourage them back into mainstream, some stay for the remainder of their education and carry out a mixture of GCSE, functional skills and vocational courses. The suitable Cover Supervisor will have prior experience of teaching or covering lessons across the curriculum to KS3 and KS4. You will be emotionally intelligent, empathetic, highly motivated and possess strong behaviour/classroom management skills. You will ideally have experience of teaching or supporting in an SEN/SEMH school although this role is open to all.
