Cover Supervisor

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Sutton Coldfield who are looking for confident and enthusiastic Graduate Cover Supervisors to support them on both a day-to-day and medium-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are exploring a future in teaching, education, psychology, or youth work, and want to gain hands-on classroom experience. The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of the teacher. Work will be pre-set and you will ensure students remain on task while maintaining a positive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising whole classes across a range of subjects Delivering pre-planned lesson materials Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Supporting students to stay engaged with their learning Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons What We’re Looking For A graduate (any subject) Confident communication and classroom presence A genuine interest in working with young people School-based experience is desirable (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, classroom support) Reliable, adaptable and professional All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
