Are you an experienced HLTA or PPA teacher seeking a flexible position within a supportive primary school environment?
Primary schools within the Solihull Borough are looking for confident and adaptable PPA Teachers / HLTAs to join their teams on a supply basis, with opportunities for longer-term placements.
This role is ideal for ECTs (Early Career Teachers) who are looking to gain valuable experience across different year groups, as well as experienced HLTAs who are confident delivering pre-planned lessons.
You will be covering PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) time, delivering lessons across EYFS and Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2). Lesson plans will often be provided, although there may be occasions where planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities are required depending on the placement.

Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across EYFS and KS1
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Adapt to different school settings and routines
Support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing
Follow school behaviour policies effectively
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or BA with QTS) or have relevant HLTA experience
Have recent experience within mainstream primary schools
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS and/or KS1 curriculum
Be flexible, proactive, and confident covering multiple year groups
Have strong behaviour management skills
Be committed to supporting the progress and development of young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
