Crew Operative/ Track Installer

Trackway Installer / Crew Operative Pay: From £14.00 per hour, 1.5x times after 45 hours, 2x times on Sundays Location: Oxfordshire (UK-wide travel required) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role Due to continued growth, we are looking for Trackway Installer Crew Operatives to join a busy and expanding operations team. This is a hands-on, outdoor role involving the installation and recovery of specialist trackway systems across a wide range of industries throughout the UK. You’ll work as part of a small, close-knit crew (typically 2–3 people), often in challenging environments and varying weather conditions. The role includes regular travel and nights away during the working week, with accommodation and allowances provided. What You’ll Be Doing Assisting with the installation and removal of trackway systems on sites across the UK Working closely with drivers and plant operators as part of a team Operating equipment (including cranes, where trained) Using hand tools to secure and prepare materials for transport Following precise instructions to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently Adhering strictly to all health and safety procedures Supporting site operations in a variety of sectors including construction, utilities, events, and infrastructure What We’re Looking For Full UK Driving Licence CSCS card desirable (training can be provide) Ability to work away from home Monday–Friday across the UK Willingness to work flexible hours (including occasional nights and weekends) Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, motivated, and able to use initiative Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Basic knowledge of hand tools Experience in construction or utilities (desirable but not essential) What’s on Offer Full training and clear career development opportunities Overtime paid at enhanced rates (time and a half / double time) Night-out allowance and paid accommodation (no sharing required) Transport provided from the main yard to job sites Company pension scheme Life insurance and health & wellbeing support Additional leave and employee benefits Referral programme and employee discounts Additional Requirements Must be able to pass background, driving record, and drug/alcohol screening Must have the right to work in the UK Willingness to travel nationwide This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a growing business where you can build a long-term career in a specialist field.
