Apply NowWe are currently recruiting for a major logistics and distribution warehouse project in Kettering starting on Monday 15th June. This is a massive, fast-paced industrial development, and we require reliable CSCS Labourers to assist a specialist engineering team with the commissioning and testing of an advanced, large-scale conveyor system.
The Role:
This is not your standard sweeping-and-shifting labouring job. You will be directly integrated with the engineering team to ensure the conveyor systems are fully operational and safety-tested. Your duties will include:

Assisting mechanical engineers with the physical testing, loading, and tracking of conveyor belts.
*
Placing and monitoring test weights/packages on the system to check for faults, alignment, and speed.
*
Identifying and reporting any blockages, unusual noises, or mechanical issues during the test phase.
*
Ensuring the work area around the conveyor lines remains safe, clear of debris, and compliant with health and safety standards.
*
General site lifting, shifting, and support duties as required by the site management team.
Requirements:
*
Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
*
Previous experience working on large-scale warehouse or construction fit-out projects.
*
Ability to follow strict technical instructions and safety protocols.
*
Reliable and punctual.
*
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
