We’re recruiting for an experienced Electrically Biased Day Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a flagship commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company known for investing in its engineers through training, development, and clear progression routes.
Working on a high-profile commercial property, you’ll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and building services systems. This is a client-facing role, so professionalism and communication are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
Respond to on-site breakdowns and emergencies
Support general building services maintenance where required
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
Monitor plant performance and maintain accurate records
Work closely with site teams and management to maintain service levels Requirements:
Electrically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
Experience in commercial building services maintenance
Strong understanding of electrical systems and basic HVAC knowledge
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a client-facing environment
Reliable and proactive approach Salary & Benefits:
Up to £53,000 salary
