Job Title: Delivery Driver Location: Hereford, Herefordshire Contract Type: Temp to Perm Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: As soon as possible Salary: £24,533.60 per annum ·        £13.33 weekly driving bonus ·        Guaranteed £20.00 weekly commission About the Role We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver (Milk Roundsperson) to join our team. This is a physically active, customer-facing role delivering fresh milk and dairy products to customers across both rural and urban routes. You’ll be working four nights per week, with most rounds starting between 23:00 and 02:00, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys working independently during quieter hours. Working Hours Weekdays: Most rounds commence between 23:00 – 02:00 Saturday: No routes running Saturday PM into Sunday AM Shifts: 4 nights per week Key Responsibilities Deliver milk and dairy products to customers’ doorsteps accurately and on time Operate a set milk round across both countryside and town routes Use handheld devices to record deliveries, orders, and payments Load and unload your vehicle, ensuring all goods are secure Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and security procedures Collect empty bottles, returns, and customer payments where required Keep your delivery vehicle clean and roadworthy What We’re Looking For Full UK driving licence (Category B) Strong customer service and communication skills Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Able to work night shifts and early mornings Reliable with good time management and attention to detail Previous delivery or retail experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided What We Offer Competitive salary plus commission and driving bonuses 18 days’ holiday + bank holidays (increasing after 3 years’ service) Refer-a-friend scheme (earn up to £500) Discounted products and delivery services Aviva pension scheme (4% employee / 4.5% employer contributions) Health & wellbeing support via Simply Health At THOMAS Professional, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.
