Deputy Manager – Children's Residential Home
G&S Path to Progression is an Ofsted-regulated provider of children's residential homes and supported accommodation for young people aged 5–17. We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, child-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
*
Support the day-to-day running of the home.
*
Lead, supervise and develop the staff team.
*
Promote safeguarding and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
*
Oversee care plans, risk assessments and records.
*
Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
*
Participate in the on-call rota and deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
Essential Requirements
*
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete).
*
Minimum 3 years' experience in a children's residential setting.
*
Experience supervising staff.
*
Good knowledge of safeguarding and Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
*
Enhanced DBS and the right to work in the UK.
Desirable
*
Full UK Driving Licence.
*
Previous Deputy Manager experience.
*
Experience with Ofsted inspections and therapeutic care approaches
