We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy, high-quality Early Years setting.
You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high standards of care and education, and ensuring compliance with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Nursery Manager in the overall daily operations of the nursery
* Lead, motivate and support staff to deliver high-quality EYFS practice
* Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare requirements are always met
* Oversee planning, observations and assessments across all rooms
* Support staff development, supervisions and appraisals
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external agencies
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff training
* Maintain occupancy, ratios and smooth day-to-day running of the setting
Requirements
* Full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
* Previous experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge or Deputy Manager
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education
