A well-established contractor with a growing pipeline of high-end residential schemes is looking to appoint a Freelance Design Manager for a £20m one-off new build in Virginia Water.
This is a site-based role, working alongside the PM and commercial team, focused on driving design through delivery on a technically detailed scheme.
The Role
Managing design from pre-con through to delivery
• Coordination of consultants, subcontractors & stakeholders
• Driving buildability, programme and technical resolution
• Working closely with PM and commercial team
• Managing RFIs, design changes and technical queries
What they’re looking for
Experienced Design Manager — not a step-up role
• Strong new build experience (high-end resi ideal)
• Comfortable running a scheme independently
• Strong coordination and technical delivery skills
• Able to hit the ground running immediately
