Die Cutter

We’re hiring for a Die Cutter to join a manufacturing business based in Stockport. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating a flat bed die cutting machine, ensuring materials are cut and creased accurately while maintaining high production and quality standards. What’s on offer? * £28k - £30k p/a * Rotating shift pattern | 12-hour shifts * Shift rotation: Thur / Fri / Sat – 1 day off – Mon / Tue / Wed – 7 days off * Currently days, moving to rotating days and nights * Company pension scheme * Plenty of overtime available What will you be doing as a Die Cutter? * Operating a Dakiou flat bed die cutting machine * Setting up and adjusting cutting tools and machine settings * Reading and interpreting drawings and work orders * Monitoring the cutting and creasing process to ensure accuracy * Inspecting finished products and carrying out quality checks * Working closely with the printing team to maintain production quality * Carrying out basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting * ·Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work environment What will you need? * Previous experience operating die cutting machinery or similar production equipment * Good mechanical understanding and knowledge of materials handling * Ability to read technical drawings and job specifications * Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations * Experience using hand tools for adjustments and maintenance Interested?
