Apply NowProtec Fire and Security Group, a Bosch company, have opportunities for Digital Engineering Technicians to work within our Digital Engineering team, specifically working with Autodesk Forma and Revit to produce contract documents, models and drawings. You will work closely with regional project design engineers and project teams to deliver project documentation to program. Also important is the timely completion of associated administrative duties as well as maintaining accurate records in line with Company Procedures.
Typical Responsibilities
* To become fully competent, through in-house training, in the use of the Company’s computer systems to meet customer requirements and communicate accurate and valid information when conversing with both internal and external customers.
* To represent the Company consistently and positively to customers in line with the Customer Care Requirements.
* To always maintain effective communication with both internal and external customers.
* To ensure all documentation is accurately completed, stored and provided to appropriate personnel when required.
* To assist project teams with technical tasks.
* To produce project documentation in line Company SMP’s and ensure correct use of cloud files.
* To attend internal coordination/design meetings.
* To issue project documents to internal/external engineers for approval.
* To produce deliverables in line with project programs.
* Any other duties commensurate with the role.
Qualifications
* AutoCAD
* Revit
Experience
* ExperienceEssential / DesirableTo be identified byExperience of working with AutoDesk Forma
* Experience of working with Revit
* Experience of working within a building services environment
* Experience of working with CDE’s
Skills / Abilities
* An excellent eye for detail
* Self-motivated with an organised approach to managing workload
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations
* The ability to maintain accurate records
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to understand and interpret drawings from varying sources
* Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineer terminology
* Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
