Digital Engineering Technician
Typical Responsibilities
* To become fully competent, through in-house training, in the use of the Company’s computer systems to meet customer requirements and communicate accurate and valid information when conversing with both internal and external customers.
* To represent the Company consistently and positively to customers in line with the Customer Care Requirements.
* To always maintain effective communication with both internal and external customers.
* To ensure all documentation is accurately completed, stored and provided to appropriate personnel when required.
* To assist project teams with technical tasks.
* To produce project documentation in line Company SMP’s and ensure correct use of cloud files.
* To attend internal coordination/design meetings.
* To issue project documents to internal/external engineers for approval.
* To produce deliverables in line with project programs.
* Any other duties commensurate with the role.
Qualifications
* AutoCAD
* Revit
Experience
* ExperienceEssential / DesirableTo be identified byExperience of working with AutoDesk Forma
* Experience of working with Revit
* Experience of working within a building services environment
* Experience of working with CDE’s
Skills / Abilities
* An excellent eye for detail
* Self-motivated with an organised approach to managing workload
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations
* The ability to maintain accurate records
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to understand and interpret drawings from varying sources
* Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineer terminology
* Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
