We’re recruiting PIP/WCA Functional Assessors in Bournemouth, offering a structured Monday–Friday role with hybrid working.
The role offers:
£40,000–£42,000 salary
5% annual performance bonus
£1,000 salary increase after 12 months
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Hybrid working – 3 days in clinic
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Funded CPD and registration fees
Structured training with DWP accreditation

Supportive, clinically-led environmentAs a Functional Assessor, you’ll:
Conduct face-to-face, video and telephone assessments
Assess how health conditions affect functional ability
Review medical evidence
Use clinical reasoning and professional judgement
Produce detailed reports for the DWPWe’re looking for:
NMC Registered Nurses – RGN, RMN or RNLD
HCPC Registered Physiotherapists or Occupational Therapists
Minimum 12 months UK post-registration experience
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Confidence using IT systemsThis could suit clinicians looking for better work-life balance, structured development and a new direction without leaving their profession behind.
