Document Controller
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £30,000, DOE
Hunters’ client is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Document Controller to support project delivery by managing documentation and digital workflows.
Working across one or more projects, this role plays a key part in ensuring information is controlled, accessible, and compliant with BIM processes and industry standards.
Document Controller - The Role
Manage and control project documentation using CDE systems, SharePoint, and CEMAR
Validate, upload, and issue documents in line with BS19650 standards and project workflows
Maintain document registers and ensure accurate tracking of all project information
Support project teams with training and promote best practice use of digital systems
Monitor system usage, report on performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives Document Controller - The Fit
Experience using CDE platforms (e.g. BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud) within construction
Strong knowledge of document control processes and BIM standards (BS19650 desirable)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Excellent organisation, communication, and training/presentation skills
