Document Controller

Document Controller / Admin Contractor Location: Plympton Rate: £175 – £225 per day NEOS Engineering recruiting on behalf of our client who are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a busy construction site in Plympton. This role requires strong site-based experience and the ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced environment, supporting live refurbishment works. Note: This is not a purely office-based role. You must be comfortable working on an active construction site and able to hold your own among site teams. Key Responsibilities Manage and control site documentation efficiently. Support refurbishment works and site replanning activities. Handle incoming calls and coordinate communication between site and office. Conduct site inductions for new personnel. Photocopy, scan, and distribute site documentation. Maintain drawing registers and document control systems. Provide general administrative support to the site management team. Ensure documentation compliance with project and company procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction. Essential site-based experience. Background in construction, aggregates, mining, or heavy industrial environments preferred. Confident working in a live site environment. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage workload independently. Comfortable liaising with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors. High attention to detail and document accuracy.
