The job you’ll do: * Produce, format, and maintain high-quality engineering documentation using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) * Control, distribute, track, and archive project documentation, ensuring accuracy, control, and timely circulation. * Coordinate document workflows with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients. * Ensure all documentation complies with company standards, QA procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Maintain document registers, numbering systems, and labelling conventions for clear identification and traceability. * Scan, copy, file, and distribute documents to internal teams and external stakeholders. * Assist with the preparation and submission of reports, schedules, and project close-out documentation. * Follow engineers’ instructions to create, update, and revise drawings using AutoCAD * Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. * Attend site as required for scanning, filing, and document control activities (may include occasional overnight stays). About you: * Must be IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office software * Willingness to travel (quarterly) and stay overnight if needed * Proven experience in a similar role (Document Controller/Administration/Technical Support) * Experience using AutoCAD or similar to update engineering drawings (desirable) * Experience using document management systems such as Meridian and/or Aconex or similar (desirable). * Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to document control. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to liaise across teams. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Full UK driving licence required
