Role Overview

We are recruiting Gas Engineers to support a social housing contract across Rotherham, delivering servicing, maintenance and repair works within residential properties. This is a permanent, full-time position offering stability, local work and a strong benefits package.

You will be responsible for ensuring gas systems and appliances are safe, compliant and operating efficiently, while providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out routine servicing, inspections and diagnostics of gas appliances and heating systems

* Complete reactive and planned repairs to ensure systems meet safety and performance standards

* Respond promptly to emergency callouts and fault-finding requests

* Accurately record all work completed, including materials used and time spent

* Provide technical advice and support to colleagues when required

* Communicate clearly with tenants, explaining works undertaken and offering maintenance guidance

* Ensure full compliance with gas safety legislation, health & safety requirements and procedures

* Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management

What We’re Looking For

* Valid Gas Safe registration

* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Gas Engineering (or equivalent)

* Experience in gas appliance servicing, maintenance and repair

* Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations within construction

* Good understanding of gas safety and compliance standards

* Full UK driving licence
