Drainage Engineer / Plumber – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office Building – Kensington, South West London – up to £42,000 per annum CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Drainage Engineer / Plumber to be based in a commercial office building in Kensington, South West London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on drainage experience who enjoys being site-based, working closely with clients and specialist subcontractors, and taking ownership of drainage performance across a portfolio of commercial buildings. In return, my client is offering a very competitive package including: A basic salary of up to £42,000 Plenty of overtime 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Private healthcare Company Pension Scheme Excellent career progression opportunitiesHours of work Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 17:00 pm Key Duties & Responsibilities Carrying out planned and reactive drainage maintenance across a cluster of commercial buildings Undertaking drainage camera surveys on rainwater gullies, stacks and below-ground systems Supporting the development and upkeep of drainage plans and asset information Diagnosing drainage issues and recommending corrective or improvement works Supervising and coordinating specialist drainage subcontractors on-site Supporting landlord areas primarily, with some involvement in tenant areas when required Completing high-quality reports, records and compliance documentation Requirements A recognised plumbing qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent) Strong working knowledge of commercial drainage systems Legionella / L8 awareness or qualification Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider engineering team Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates A proven track record in commercial building maintenance Good communication skills Client Facing Please send your CV to Alex Denton of CBW Staffing Solutions to avoid missing out on the role
