Drama Teacher Job Vacancy Drama Teacher role in: Birmingham Starting date: ASAP Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 per day, DOE Temporary Contract: Long-term cover Full Time Vacancy: (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)Drama Teacher Specification We are currently recruiting for a passionate and qualified Drama Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Birmingham area. This full-time role is set to begin ASAP and is initially a temporary position, with a strong potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will be confident teaching Drama across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons, encouraging curiosity, and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) Strong subject knowledge in Drama Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lesson Effective classroom and behaviour management skills A passion for Drama education and student progress Safeguarding Level 1 trained (we can support with this if needed) Valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) The School is Looking for a Drama Teacher Who: This Birmingham-based secondary school is known for its inclusive culture, strong leadership, and commitment to academic excellence.
